Solution for measuring iron loss of electrical steel under tensile stress

Project background:

Electrical steel is one of the most important functional metal materials for manufacturing motors, transformer cores and various electrical components. Under the general trend of energy conservation, emission reduction and high-end industry, the factors affecting the loss of electrical steel have received more and more attention. In the process of electrical steel production and application, stress is an important factor affecting loss. To correct the loss value of online testing of electrical steel under tensile stress and the loss curve of electrical steel under tensile stress conditions, accurate measurements must be made. Loss changes of electrical steel under different tensile stresses.

Need analysis:

The main methods of electrical steel damage testing include Epstein square circle method and single chip method. The Epstein square circle is a standard measurement method. It uses multiple pieces of stacking and cannot conduct loss tests under tensile stress. When testing silicon steel sheets using the single-chip method, tensile stress can be loaded at the same time. Currently, the single-chip method generally uses 500*500mm samples to measure iron loss. The test method complies with domestic and foreign standards. On this basis, adding a tensile device for measurement will make the test results more convincing. 

Solution:

1. Test equipment. MATS-3000M silicon steel material measuring device is equipped with SST-500F tension magnetic permeability meter.

2. Equipment functions. MATS-3000M silicon steel material measuring device can accurately measure the AC magnetic parameters of electrical steel sheets (strips) in the frequency range of 20Hz to 2kHz: specific total loss Ps, magnetic polarization intensity Jm, magnetic field strength Hm, specific apparent power Ss, amplitude magnetic conductivity, as well as AC magnetization and loss curves. SST-500F tension magnetic permeability meter can test the magnetic performance parameters of 500*500mm silicon steel samples under 0-600N tension state.
